TO THE FRIENDS OF THELMA PARKER MEMORIAL LIBRARY

We cordially invite you to our Annual Meeting

on Thursday, May 19 from 3-5 pm in the

Meeting Room of the Library

Please note that the existing By Laws provide that the Annual Meeting be held in June.  However, due to a lack of a quorum as a result of planned travel and absence of majority of Board members in June, the Board has determined that the May meeting will be the Annual General Membership Meeting and will submit a resolution to that effect.  The proposed By Laws as approved by the Board includes a provision to change the Annual Meeting date.

The Agenda consists of a short business meeting, election of officers (nominations will be accepted from the floor), and voting on the proposed Amendments to the By Laws as recently approved by the Board of Directors.

The Proposed Amendments follow this invitation.  The Board recommends that it is in the best interest of the organization to amend its By Laws.  

The current By Laws are located in Board Documents for your reference in reviewing the proposed amendments.
